Well, look what I received: tail/rudder kit for my ch 801.  Let the fun begin.

I’m excited but also scared a bit.  This is the biggest project I’ve taken on so far, aside from my daughter .  Once it is done, I will feel like Wright Brothers!

First task was to inventory parts to get familiar with them.  I have also reread the instructions a zillion times. It doesn’t look complicated but just a lot of steps to follow and keep track of.

I also decided to use Cortec for corrosion prevention.  I don’t think I need any corrosion prevention because of the time-frame I will be flying but Cortec is simple enough to apply that it should help if I decide to sell the plane afterwards.

So I cleaned the garage, set up the bench.  Just need time to work on it.  Hopefully this weekend 🙂
